Founder & Principal

Cameron McKenzie, CAIA, CIRA, CVA, CM&AA, MAFF, CEPA, FMVA, CBCA is an investment banker, investor and entrepreneur with over ten years of experience in various industries. In 2015 Cameron founded McKenzie & Associates after working six years for the boutique strategic advisory firm, The Hertell Group, headed by former U.S. Ambassador Hans H. Hertell.

Cameron has experience in corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, business valuation, and corporate financial advisory - having worked on over 2 Billion dollars’ worth of transactions throughout the Americas. During his career, he has worked with public and private companies in various industries, such as energy, infrastructure, media, and hospitality, amongst others. 

Cameron has an M.B.A. and B.S. from Babson College and has numerous financial certifications. In 2019 he was named 40 under 40 from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts and in 2020 was named “Americas Rising Dealmaker” by the Global M&A Network. He was also elected as President-Elect of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce after serving for two years on the board as a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Committee.
